Institute Level Admission 2026-27 (First Year B.Tech)

RCP COEP, Shirpur invites applications from eligible candidates for admission against Institute Level Seats, including Institute Quota Seats and Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP), for admission to First Year B.Tech. (Four-Year Degree Courses) for the Academic Year 2026–27.

The Institute Level Round(s) and admission against Institute Level Seats will be conducted in accordance with Rule 13 of the Information Brochure for A.Y. 2026–27 issued by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State.

A. ELIGIBILITY:

• Only candidates satisfying the eligibility conditions prescribed by the State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra, for First Year B.Tech. admission for A.Y. 2026–27 will be considered.

• Candidates applying for Institute Quota / ACAP Seats must possess valid registration/credentials as prescribed by the State CET Cell.

• Have completed the prescribed application confirmation/document verification process, wherever applicable.

• Satisfy the prescribed candidature, educational qualification and entrance examination requirements.

• Fulfil all other eligibility conditions prescribed by the competent authority.

• Produce all required original documents at the time of admission for verification.

• Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP): 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• Institute Quota Seats: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Note: The above schedule is subject to any subsequent notification, amendment or direction issued by the State CET Cell, Government of Maharashtra. Candidates are advised to regularly check the Institute Website and Notice Board for updates.

C. IMPORTANT RULES & INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Subsequent Institute Level Rounds: If seats remain vacant after the above round, or if vacancies arise due to cancellation/non-reporting, subsequent Institute Level Rounds may be conducted, wherever permissible, until the seats are filled, subject to the rules and admission schedule prescribed by the State CET Cell and before the prescribed admission cut-off date.

2. Merit Criteria: Institute Quota (IQ): Admissions against Institute Quota Seats will be made strictly on the basis of the merit criteria prescribed by the State CET Cell for A.Y. 2026–27. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the applicable entrance examination score/percentile and eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority. Preference, wherever applicable, will be given in accordance with the rules prescribed by the State CET Cell.

Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP): Admissions against Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP) will be made strictly on the basis of the merit criteria prescribed by the State CET Cell. The seat allocation/admission will be made in accordance with the applicable rules and the vacant seat type/category shown in the relevant CAP vacancy position, wherever applicable.

3. Separate Merit Lists: Separate merit lists will be prepared/displayed for Institute Quota (IQ) and Vacant Seats after CAP (ACAP), wherever applicable. Separate merit lists will be prepared/displayed for eligible candidates under the respective categories and eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority, including Gujarati Linguistic Minority, MHT-CET and JEE (Main) candidates, wherever applicable.

4. Reporting: Candidates included in the Final Merit List must report in person at the Institute on the scheduled date and time. Failure to report or respond when called for admission may result in forfeiture of the candidate's claim for that particular seat/round. Such seat will be offered to the next eligible candidate strictly according to merit and applicable rules.

5. Candidates Already Admitted Elsewhere: Candidates who have already taken admission at another institute will produce the required Admission Receipt/Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement from the previous institute along with the required document set, as prescribed under the applicable admission rules. Where specifically permitted under the applicable rules, the candidate will submit an undertaking regarding submission of original documents within the prescribed period.

6. Confirmation of Admission: Admission will be treated as confirmed only after verification of all required original documents; confirmation of the candidate's eligibility; completion of the prescribed admission procedure; and payment of the full prescribed fees at the time of confirmation of admission. Part payment or payment of fees in installments will not be permitted.

E. ADMISSION FEE AND DOCUMENTS – A.Y. 2026–27:

As per the Minutes of Meetings of the Fee Regulating Authority (FRA) dated 15.06.2026, the following fee structure is applicable for admissions under Institute Quota (FRA Notice / 1058/2025, dated 31.07.2025).
